Benefit Brow Bar
I hope 2019 is an awesome year for you all filled with lots of fashion and beauty... YAAAAYYYYY....
💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting in such a long while, life just had me in a tailspin.. Well now that I can catch up with myself again, i promise to be more dedicated.
So getting back to the topic of the post..
Like I was saying, I haven't had much time for myself lately so last weekend I took the girls on a shopping spree.. Upon walking into Edgars, i decided to get my eyebrows waxed and on the spur on the moment decided it was time for my 14 year old daughters first wax so off to the Benefit Counter we sauntered..
First impressions: everything was so girly pretty, princess pinky, think boho chic.. We were greeted by an awesome, amazing and absolutely fabulous brow stylist by the name of OBee.. I kid you not he's truly amaze ballz..
Needless to say my tomboy daughter was very nervous about having her eyebrows waxed but OBee calmed her nerves very quickly whilst explaining everything to her very carefully and giving her advice for future waxing.. He started off by prepping her brows and brow mapping and explained to her that every stylist needs to start by doing a brow mapping.
He had her laughing and giggling the whole time and she barely felt anything. He shaped it giving a very natural look.
Next up was my turn and all i can say is wow!!! I normally got my brows done at Sorbet but i kid you not my brows had never before looked so awesome. He then decided to touch up my makeup. I currently use Estee Lauder but he used the Benefit products giving me a mini makeover.. Goodness did he give me a makeover..
I LOOKED AMAZINGLY..
So dolls, if you are around Menlyn Mall, get on over to Edgars Benefit Brow Bar and get OBee to hook you up..

Rehidrat Sport Powders
Rehidrat Sport Powders
Rehidrat has been used in my household for many years now as my GP always prescribes it for when my someone in my family has a bout of diahorrea. It's always proved to effectively restore fluid to the body together with electrolytes.
I must admit that I hadn't heard of the sport before until the beauty bulletin review project so that's why I decided to go out and give it a try. My kids are very sport and my daughter plays soccer so I also popped a sachet into her soccer bag to rehydrate after practice. After also trying it myself during an intense gym session, I must admit that I didn't feel as parched and light headed as a normally do after a workout.
In this regard it really is effective in doing providing sufficient hydration and restoring electrolytes.
Although it says on the pack to mix one sachet with 250ml water, I prefer to mix 2 sachets in around 300ml of water to provide a better taste, as I chose the naartjie flavor and it was just a bit too subtle for me. It then tasted like a flavored water. An added plus was the slight fizz which made it easier for the kids to drink as they are not exactly water fanatics..
I definitely would repurchase for gym sessions as it eliminates the nausea and light headed Ness I get after a workout.

Impulse Bodyspray
Hi there lovelies 😊😊😊
My friend recently received a pack of Impulse bodysprays to review and she was kind enough to share them with me for an honest review in return. Now isn't that just sweet.. A big shout out to my girl Taz! ! Whoop Whoop!
Anyhow back to my review, to be honest, I haven't really used Impulse sprays since high school which was like ages ago... No specifics, and no, I'm not old...
Now I'm a lover of sweet scents, think Britney Spears Fantasy, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, Elizabeth Arden Pretty and my all time favorite Versace Bright Crystal. . So it's no surprise that I immediately gravitated towards the Paris. It has a beautiful sweet scent which is neither sickly sweet nor overwhelming. It has a blend of bergamot, tangerine and muguet scents. It mellows down to a powdery sherbet smell.
Now the Dynamique in my opinion is a fresh, clean out of the shower scent. It is a blend of musky vanilla and Amber notes. Ideal for straight out of the gym when you want to have that "clean, just showered " smell.
Now something that is unique with these bodysprays is the new twist cap, so no more losing those pesky little things.
Although both smell amazing they don't tend to be long lasting on their own but maybe after layering it would be different.
Would I purchase these? Definitely! For R20 they are well worth the price.
Please share your feelings.
Till next time, mwahz😙

☆Review☆ Nimue Phase 1
Today I'm super excited to be doing a review on the Nimue phase 1 range..
Firstly a big thank you to both Rubybox and Nimue for sending me a FULL SIZE starter pack to trial and if that's not already awesome enough I also received a complimentary voucher for an Active Rejuvenation Treatment valued at R490. .
My goodie bag |
It's been 2 weeks now since I've started using the products and these are my opinions so let's get started.
Nimue Cleansing Gel Lite
This is a soap free 2 in 1 cleansing gel with a ph4.5. It claims to gently remove makeup and dirt with gentle exfoliating properties.
My take on it: It has a cute dispenser pump and about 3 squirting (4 if I have makeup on) is enough to clean up my face. It leaves my face with a nice smooth silky feeling and does not have that tight feeling you get from soap cleansers. It has a very light citrus fragrance that goes away in about 2 minutes.

What is beauty
So what suits your bestie may not necessarily be the right cut for your body shape. Similarly, what looks absolutely amaaaazing on you could look crap on her (silent yaaaaaay, yeah I know you have that bitchy streak too)...
So don't live by other people's standards, define your own.

Me in a Summary
So I thought that I'd begin by introducing myself. My name is Samantha(but you can call me Sam) and I'm a full time mum of 3 lovely angels..
I'm also a wife, full time university student currently in my final year towards my degree in Environmental Management, a shopaholic, a beauty addict and lover of all things beautiful. .
I absolutely adore having lots of fun with my family, shopping sprees (yaaay), I can go absolutely crazzzzeeee when there's a good sale
Oh, and how can I forget my absolute favorite, a good pot of mutton curry. .
I tend to be very lazy at times so I'm a sucker for easy peasy lemon squeezy recipes that have already been tried n tested by OTHER people.. yeah that how I roll 😎. I really enjoy eating out and ultimately having to cry about it n promise myself I'm going to lose weight but stick to a diet for only a week..🙈
My greatest challenges are getting up in the morning ,
